1/28 - Cooking Class with Chef Brian - Slow Foods/Soups & Stews – Thursday 1-28-10, 6:00pm-8:00pm Believe it or not, some people enjoy the art of cooking. There is a sense of accomplishment after an afternoon of slowly simmering a pot of stew or risotto for hours until the meat is fall apart tender and the flavors finally come together. We discuss topics and ways to improve our business every week. Topic: Google ~  we will discuss all of the FREE applications that Google offers to help improve your business!

Feb Breakfast Meeting: Our breakfast meeting will be hosted at the DADBA Office (2011 Oak St. Wyandotte MI) And will begin at 7:30am. This meeting will be catered by Chef Brian of Dining in PCS and will be $5

2/5 - Gold Canyon Open House - Join Steffanie Keffer at the DADBA Office (2011 Oak St, Wyandotte MI) from 6-9pm for a Gold Canyon Open house.

2/7 - DADBA Super Bowl Party.... Bring a dish,
a friend or significant other and whatever you are drinking up to the DADBA Firehouse for Super Bowl Sunday! Party starts at 4:30pm..... hope to see you all there!

2/9 - Informal Business Roundtable (IBR) ~ Join us at the DADBA Office (located at 2011 Oak Street in Wyandotte) every Tuesday night from 7-9pm. We discuss topics and ways to improve our business every week. Topic:  Developing a network of people to cross promote your business with!  We will discuss good fits for each business owner and ideas on how to help each other cross promote your products and services.

2/11 - Cooking Class with Chef Brian - Cooking Green –  6:00pm-8:00pm Learn about eating locally, sustainable foods, home gardening and seasonal cooking. Cooking methods and tips used to reduce energy consumption in the home will be demonstrated. Samples and recipes provided will reduce costs, energy consumption and time spent in the kitchen. We discuss topics and ways to improve our business every week. Topic: Sales ~ we will discuss everything from cold calling, closing a sale and overcoming price barriers with potential clients!

2/24 - Feb. Lunch meeting will be hosted at the Italian American Club (646 Biddle Ave, Wyandotte MI). This meeting will begin at 11:30am.

2/25 - Cooking Class with Chef Brian - Seafood - 6:00pm-8:00pm There is more to seafood than fish and chips. Students will learn to purchase fresh fish and how best to prepare “natures fast food”. Demonstrations include seafood en papiotte, and fisherman’s seafood sauce and seafood chowder that the family will enjoy. Recipes included. For more info - diningin@wyan.org
